Hey sugar, Welcome back to the blog! Now if you know me, you probably know how much I LOVE make-up! I am pretty much obsessed and can be talked into “needing” just about anything. I truly don’t think there is one product I love more than the other. I always start my make-up routine saying “today will be a natural day”, and then I just have to add bronzer. Now since I put bronzer on I might as well add some blush. Well now I have to put highlighter on to bring it all together! You see where I am going? Before I even realize it, I am pretty much full glam with a full face of make-up! Today I thought it would be fun to walk you through a typical “full-face” of make-up with my ride-or-die products! So let me stop rambling, and let’s get started!!
Foundation: Too Faced Born This Way $39
Look if James Charles and Auntie Jackie Aina are using this foundation, count me in! James and Jackie are two of my favorite make-up gurus and once I found out they were both using this foundation…. well I just had to have it. I love that this foundation is medium to full coverage because not everyone wants full coverage. Now this is also a matte foundation, with that being said I still love it!! I just have to make sure that my skin is moisturized before applying.
Concealer: Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer $29
Man-oh-man was that a mouthful! Alright ladies and gents I know that this is pricey for a concealer. Trust me I was hesitant too, but it will last you soooo much longer! Seriously I am still on my first one that I purchased and getting ready to buy another one! I went through my foundation before needing more of this bad boy! I truly believe its the best bang for your buck! Plus it’s full coverage!
Setting Powder: Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder: $33
I am not going to tell you to run out and buy this right now, because I am so-so on it. To be honest I already have my sights set on another setting powder! In no way am I saying this setting powder is horrible because it’s not, it just doesn’t work the best with my dry skin. I prefer this over the Laura Mercier Setting Powder because it is more fine, so for me it doesn’t stick to my dry spots. If you have dry skin like me I would recommend the Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder, ($35) because it is Talc-free. Talcum as a powder helps to absorb moisture like oil. So when you don’t have oily skin it tends to make you look bone dry!
Contour: KatVonD Shade & Light Face Contour Palette $49
James Charles did again, he got me hooked on an amazing contour palette. Since I purchased this palette I have yet to use another for contouring. It just has the perfect shades in it for my (and many others) skin tone! Honestly this is an amazing buy, especially since you can now buy the refill shades for it!
Blush: Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten $28
I remember I first purchased her blush when ULTA Beauty had their 21 days of Beauty event. I have the shade Peach Delight (vibrant pink flecked w/ peach shimmer) and that slight shimmer made me fall in love! This is perfect for those girls that want a little bit of glow without having to put on highlighter. OR if you are like me…. it makes the shimmer base before applying your highlight. I truly don’t think anyone could be disappointed when purchasing this blush! I know I wasn’t.
Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
This is my holy grail! Seriously since I started doing my eyebrows in 2014 I haven’t used any other product! I could probably write an entire book on why I love this product so much! I will say it’s not for everyone, and I never recommend this to beginners (wish someone told me when I started) because you can tend to look like a clown. For me now, I love it!
Bronzer: Lorac TANtalizer Highlighter and Matte Bronzer Duo $33
I love this bronzer! Truly it mixes so well with my contour and blush! Unfortunately I could do without the highlighter. Just the smallest amount of this bronzer does the trick which means more bang for your buck!
Eyelashes: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Ooohhh baby is this mascara amazing! It’s hands down my favorite formula with the most amazing brush! I do try other mascaras when I get them in subscription boxes, but this is still my tried-and-true!
As for highlighters I can’t choose just one! I have so many favorites it’s ridiculous! More recently I have been loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills Amerezy Highlighter though!
Well my loves, those are my ride-or-die make-up products that I use daily. What are some of your favorite make-up products?!
Love always, Chloé Danielle
