I don’t know about you, but I am already about 300% into fall mode! I am so EXCITED becuase it is OFFICIALLY Fall y’all and Halloween is almost here!!! Fall is hands down my favorite season for many, many reasons. Today I wanted to share some of my all time favorite Fall traditions with you! I become the definition of a “basic white girl” when Fall rolls around! Pumpkin Spice Lattes, North Face, UGG boots, and so much more! So let’s go ahead and get started because we have a lot to cover!
Pumpkin Spice Lattes
On August 28th you could probably hear my feet running to Starbucks, because yes that’s right the Pumpkin Spice Latte made its debut. For the first full week of the PSL being out, I had one everyday! I have since calmed down a little bit but just know that I am still dreaming of this everyday at work.
When it starts getting cold, I bust out the UGGs! I don’t know about you but my feet and fingers are always the first things to get cold in this Fall weather! I have a pair of UGGs in pretty much all the neutral colors, (I might have a slight issue) but my favorite ones are the ones I rarely wear! They are my bright pink Breast Cancer Uggs and I only wear them for the month of October.
Anything and Everything Fall Scented at Bath and Body Works
Y’all the Fall scents are out and your girl is stocking up!! My ALL time favorite scent from Bath and Body Works is the Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte scent *insert heart eyes* and I absolutely LOVE their Pumpkin Apple candle! I know I can always count on Bath and Body Works for the most amazing Fall scencts (or any and every scent for that matter) and I always make sure to stock up when they have their buy 3 get 3 free!
I love having bonfires with friends and family just having some drinks and smores and just catching up! It’s the perfect time to relax and just have an amazing time with girl friends or even that someone special! Friday nights are usually “Bistro” nights on our back patio where us neighbor girls get together after a long work week and sip our wine and wine coolers and just catch up! We always end the night with a bonfire and smores! This to me is the perfect start to the weekend!
Apple & Pumpkin Picking
For as long as I can remeber my mom has been taking me apple picking! We get up early in the morning grab our drink of choice (typically always a coffee) and hit the road. We have so much fun jamming out to music and just chit chatting until we get there; we are both early people so typically we are some of the first people there which we prefer. We get our bags to fill with apples and hitch a ride on a wagon and head out to the orchard! We usually pick golden delicious, johnagold, and honeycrisp apples so long as they are all in season. Once we pick our apples we go pay for them and head back in to pick out our pumpkins! I take about 5 years to choose my pumpkin because I ALWAYS have to choose a green pumpkin (story for another day).
One of my favorite things to do right before Halloween is to carve pumpkins with my mom, nana, and now Justin as well. It has been a tradition of ours since I was younger and I love it. While my nana and I always manage to carve cute pumpkins my mom always seems to “take the cake” for her amazing carving skills. I also love that we keep the seeds from our pumpkin and roast them to munch on. Who else does this?!
I absolutely LOVE dressing for colder weather! Bring on all the over sized sweaters, knee high boots, and blanket scarves out there!! I absolutely live for layering my clothing in the Fall, and I feel like my best outfits are in my Fall wardrobe! I have recently fallen in love with the brand Luna and Loki local to Granger, Indiana. They make some of the most beautiful leather jewelry I have ever seen!! Also shout out to Eddie Bauer for always having some of the best Fall scarves and hats!
There it is y’all, my FAVORITE things to do/buy in Fall. I also love watching Football and going to corn mazes. Fun Fact: Justin and I actually had our first date at the corn maze 2 years ago.
What are some of your Favorite Fall activities?
Love always, Chloé Danielle
